Approach
The Motivational Interviewing approach is a client-centred, guiding communication style. It is applicable to a variety of professions and is currently widely used in the following sectors:
I provide one, two and three-day courses. If resources permit, a three-day course includes two consecutive training days with an opportunity to embed skills learnt into practice, prior to the consolidation final day. Follow-up coaching sessions, focused supervision and booster training can improve skills development.
Introductory presentations and shorter workshops can be arranged.
